1. Introduction
LUCA provides a library of components for merchants using Shopify to manage their online stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use LUCA - Store Design in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
2. Personal information collected
2.1. Merchant information
When you install LUCA - Store Design, we automatically access certain types of information from your Shopify account, including access logs, information about the device and browser you use, your network connection and IP address, settings made in our App, payment history, and installation/uninstallation logs.
We use this information to provide our services, confirm your identity, offer support, send important notifications (such as end of trial period or App updates), and fulfill legal obligations (such as tax reports). We also use this information to improve the App interface and customize the services.
In some cases, we may request access to certain sections of your Shopify admin to resolve technical issues. It is your responsibility to grant us access only to the requested sections and remove our access after the issue is resolved.
2.2. Information of merchant's customers and store visitors
When you install and use our App, we do not collect, process, or maintain personal data of the customers or visitors of your Shopify store.
2.3. Information of our website visitors
When visiting or browsing through our website, we collect information about the device and browser you use, your network connection, IP address, and cookies installed on your device. We use this information to provide and improve our services, including customer support.
2.4. Cookie and similar technologies information
Cookies are data files placed on your device or computer and often include a unique anonymous identifier. We use functional cookies to recognize your device and keep you logged into your account, and behavioral cookies to display targeted ads with your consent.
We use Google Analytics to analyze information collected when you use the App in the Shopify admin. This information allows us to better understand the App users and improve our services.

We use the collected personal information to provide our services and operate the App. Additionally, we use this information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide information or advertising about our products or services.

Your information is never shared for advertising purposes. We may share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to subpoenas, search warrants, or other legal requests for information we receive, or to protect our rights.
